15 months?? Can you believe you've been a mom for 15 months already? it seems unreal, amazing, it's actually difficult to even describe all the emotions you feel on a daily basis. I want you to never forget that you are extremely happy. Yes, it's hard. Some days, exceptionally hard. Your days are long, nights are short and Micaela just started waking up, at least once, at night, but you wouldn't change a single thing. Nothing. Micaela is a bundle of joy. She has a sweet personality and she loves her mommy and daddy. Everyday is an adventure.
Pablo is just as handsome as ever and the both of you are in a good place. He's taken to fatherhood marvelously and your love for him just grows stronger by watching him interact with your little princess. Work is, well, work. It's that simple. But you really love what you are doing, and this makes up for the not-ideal details of any start-up company.
You're a great mom and you pride yourself on taking good care of your little family. Yes, you make mistakes. But you learn from them and move on. You still call your mom with questions and concerns especially when your little princess is sick or acting differently. And she always reassures you. You're so very proud of yourself. Never in your wildest dreams could you have imagined that you'd have this amazing little baby girl. One that's brought you and Pablo so much happiness. She is your life and you love her more than anything.
Advice: you could probably use a mani/pedi more often, more dates with Pablo, and right now you're in need of a new haircut and possibly a new wardrobe. But you are happy. Really, truly, happy. Life is good. When you find yourself longing to remember how those crazy busy months were like when Micaela was just a little baby, I hope these words can take you back, if only for a moment. You, Pablo, and Micaela are making many happy memories. Ones that will last you a lifetime.
