You made me a better person!

There are so many things I want to tell you...

First, I want you to know that after meeting your father, you are the best thing that ever happened to me. Your birth was life changing. After you were born, I was the happiest I have ever been in my life. I will never forget those feelings or that experience. Seeing you grow up gives me the greatest joy imaginable. I treasure our time together. And I enjoy getting to know you as an individual person. I love watching you gain new skills. I hurt when you hurt. And our journey together has been both the most challenging and sweetest time with you.

I want you to know that you have given me courage. You have taught me patience. And your very existence has made me a better person. I gather strength from you and your unbeatable energy. You have helped me put our family first and shown me how blissful childhood can be. I am reliving my childhood through you. You were my dream. I always knew I wanted you and I always knew how much I would love you. When you were in my belly, I would sing to you. I could not wait for you to be born so I could cuddle you and give you kisses. The first days of your life, you slept for hours and hours. All I could do was watch you sleep. My dream had become a reality. And as trite as it may sound, I now cannot imagine my life without you.

About the world, I want you to know that you should always follow your heart and your intuition. There will be people who come into your life who may challenge you or momentarily cause you to question your values. Or yourself. Stay strong! The greatest lesson I have learned is to not be concerned with others. You must worry about yourself and your own happiness. No one else will do this for you. And ultimately, your happiness is most important. Do what makes you joyful and it will never be work. Love openly and with all your heart. Know that your father and I will always love you. You are special, unique, one-of-a-kind, and perfect. You are wanted and you are loved more than words can ever express.
